Don't Send ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Insight Mind AI LLC, operates donotsend.app and the "Don't Send – Check Before You Text" Chrome extension. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
When you register, we collect your email address and account preferences. Your original messages are processed in real-time and are never saved to any database or server logs. We store AI-generated analysis results (suggestions, tone scores, summaries) linked to your account for your analysis history — but never your original message text.
When you submit messages for analysis, those messages may contain content written by other people. We process all submitted content solely for analysis purposes. Third-party message content is treated with the same privacy protections — processed in real-time and immediately discarded. We do not attempt to identify, profile, or build records about any third parties mentioned in submitted messages.
Our Services use AI powered by Google's Gemini API. When you submit content, it is sent to Google's API for real-time processing according to their Privacy Policy and API Terms of Service. Your original message content is not stored after analysis. AI-generated results (suggestions, tone scores, summaries) are saved to your account history for up to 14 days.
Our Chrome extension displays a floating button on messaging websites (WhatsApp Web, Instagram, Messenger). The extension does not read, access, or modify any page content, messages, or user data. It simply provides a link to donotsend.app.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as page views and button clicks). This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
If you subscribe to our Pro plan, payment data is collected and processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details.
We use minimal cookies necessary for basic site functionality, authentication, and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.
Account information is retained while your account is active. Analysis history (AI-generated suggestions, tone scores, summaries) is retained for 14 days by default and then automatically deleted. Your original message content is never stored. When you delete your account, all personal information and analysis history is deleted within 30 days.
Our service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
